Beach Mayhem

Hello Everyone, I wanted to show off my new project that I am currently working on. This is a project I like to call "Beach Mayhem". Beach Mayhem is a platformer based on an oversized beach. You will find yourself having to do all sorts of parkour and other jumps to escape this madness! I used Unreal Engine to create this whole project and let me tell you, I would not have it any other way! Unreal Engine is an excellent tool for new developers like me. I was really proud of the water that I created. Water was probably the most difficult part of this project. I had probably 25 attempts at getting the water to a spot where I like it. I used a combination of Unreal Engine and Visual Studio to make this project. I really enjoyed making this because my dream is to become a level designer for a triple A game studio. Overall the creation of this project was fairly smooth, as stated above the water game me some trouble, but I was able to crush through it. My instructor gave me a few tips to polish this project, and I believe a few of these small changes made a big difference. I did learn that using blueprints is helpful in starting an idea, but using C++ to polish is phenomenal. I really hope you enjoy!
